At the head of the expedition of the Argonauts was the young Jason who was entrusted with the task of recovering the golden fleece that seemed to have the power to heal any disease. Once the ship sailed, two oxen were sacrificed to the God Apollo as a sign of good luck for the journey undertaken. In the distance it was possible to see the smoke rising from the ship, so the Argonauts decided to celebrate the departure, but the wine fomented quarrels and furious brawls. Orpheus, an enchanting artist, brought back peace and concord among the adventurers with the sweet sound of his lyre, thus saving a mission that seemed to be already compromised at its beginning.
